Wolegib Waterfront Modern Muskoka Retreat

Positive: We returned for our second stay after having a perfect experience the first time — and everything was just as wonderful again. The cottage was spotless, cozy, and very comfortable, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It’s a peaceful place to relax and unwind. We definitely recommend it and would happily return.

Highly recommended. We had a lovely time Positive: Beautiful house in a beautiful location. Good facilities and appliances. A wonderful place for a family location. Negative: Check in and check out times are very restricted (4 pm and 10 am )basically removing 2 days from a fairly pricy vacation. The owners were kind enough to let us in at 3 pm instead of 4 but I think 3 pm and 11 am would be more standard

My friends and I had an amazing time at Wolegib! The cottage itself was stunning with a great view, just like the pictures in the listing. We enjoyed the hot tub and the indoor fireplace and really brings the cozy vibes that we were looking for in a cottage.The cottage is also quite close to town, approximately a 15-20min drive. Arrowhead provincial park was also nearby and we enjoyed the natural skating there. The roads in Hunstville are quite snowy and you definitely need winter tires to go around everywhere, but all the roads were plowed.What made our experience 10x better was Rebecca and Garth. They were ready to respond to any questions and provide any help we wanted at all times.Overall, highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking to visit Huntsville and Muskoka area. Would also be lovely during summer time as they had a bunch of water activities in the front yard of the cottage.

I've stayed in 5 star hotels with less appeal. A very upscale 'cabin in the woods'. Direct waterfront (river) and very private. BBQ, outdoor fire pit, hot-tub, dock, kayaks and WIFI - all in excellent working order which is many times not the case. Communication with owners very good. Overall a great getaway. Huntsville was a very nice town as well just a quick 10 min down the road.
